I usually like to keep things simple. I have enjoyed converting "THE
SPARTUS FULL-VUE CAMERAS" found on ebay for $8 to $20 [with shipping etc]
depending on the shape and luck! I don't care if the lens works since I
replace them with a pinhole or zone plate. They take 120 film and next to
my Zero 2000 is one of my favorite roll pinhole cameras.
They are easy to convert and have a shutter or bulb setting. Only drawback
is no tripod fitting but they to can be added with out too much trouble.
The best part is the have a view finder on top to help with composition. I
had one come with a broken mirror and I replaced it with a small piece of
"Plexiglas mirror" and it is working fine.
If you want more detailed information you can contact me offline at:

Just a suggestion.
Take Care,

Subject: [pinhole-discussion] Viewfinder for Pinhole Camera

I use pinhole cameras quite a bit (usually medium format models taking 120
film) and, although I have become reasonably intuitive about composition
(and often enjoy not knowing exactly what's in and out of the picture),
sometimes I'd like to be able to compose more precisely. If I were handier,
I'm sure I could fashion some kind of viewfinder, but I'm rather all thumbs
when it comes to projects of that sort.

Does anyone know of a source that makes viewfinders for commercial sale,
or can anyone give me very simple (but detailed) instructions?

  Many thanks,

  Rita Bernstein
