I got it figured out. The lever in some models is covered (like my 230),
which lead me to believe it didn't need to be pressed down. I realized I
didn't have a good connection at one end, and that was the problem. But it's
fixed now and I've been taking pictures! I think I want to put a smaller
pinhole on it though.
