in that case, just stack three. the batteries that actually fit the
polaroids are still available, as someone has suggested, but i've found
that they go bad real fast, and they are the type of battery that will
quickly corrupt the wiring in the camera, making it useless. plus they
are usually a special order from radio shack, at about $12... more than
i paid for the camera! after buying a few of these in quick succession,
and destroying the wiring in one camera, i decided to find an
alternative. the batteries i now use are the standard ones for slr
cameras, v357, but you could use the v625 or whatever is 1.5v. just tape
them together to make 4,5v. the batteries for slr are good just because
they are small and flat, and easy to stack. and i think they are usually
lithium. i haven't had to replace the batteries since i've done this,
over a year ago... i've also heard of people converting to AA batteries,
but you'd have to muck with wiring...
