traci,
for batteries, i stack two of the standard camera batteries up and tape
around them. together they will equal the right amount of juice, and
they are MUCH easier to find and also less expensive. i'm not sure if
i'm remembering this right, but i think the polaroid takes a 3v, so
you'd stack up two 1.5v batteries, and tape the leads to the
appropriate positive or negative side. it works just fine, and since the
new batteries are so small there's room in compartment for other small
things...
