I have always liked Guillermo Peņate's:

I hate to sound like one of THOSE people who...
but can someone please refer me to some Zone Plate images that they truly
believe are artistic?
I see all too often language implying "soft = artistic".
Someone was kind enough to give me some a couple a some Zone Plate
transparencies, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to produce anything
spectacular until I get a feel for what composition, subject etc really
utilizes the effect well.
I've seen a range of pinhole work I really like and find inspiring, but I
can't say the same yet for ZP.
A little eye-opener might help.
Thank you
Murray
