What I have and since using trays am offering for sale are Yankee tanks.

These 4X5 by about 6 inches with hangers each hold the chemicals used for
developing, stopping and fixing with a forth for washing negatives. Again,
mine are for 4X5 film.

In the tanks, the film is fully emersed and each individual sheet can be
agitated separately. I pull one out to inspect, and re-emerse the piece as
they develop.

I paid about a hundred dollars for the system with hangers to fill one tank.
I have about two tanks worth of hangers.

The idea is to be able to develop a tank, maybe 6- 10 pieces of film, then
reload and develop another group.

It's wise to be careful to count the surface area per quantity of developer
so as not to push the developer too far.
