Re: WPPD '04 is almost here

I guess I shouldn't complain, Chuck. It was 95 here in Phoenix, tiny
pathetic wispy excuses of cloud, and absolutely as hot as the dickens. I
should have hit the trail at sunrise, but some friends came over on the spur
of the moment and we sipped pinot noir until, well, nearly sunrise. Sooo. I
took two afternoon jaunts into this sweltering nonsense. Got as much sun in
three hours as you folks up in Illinois are liable to get all summer. Maybe
we have an ozone hole down here.

It might be nice to borrow from Guy's Flying Pinhole one year: forget
mailing the camera - everybody just ship out and do theirs somewhere else.
By the end of April, I personally might be quite fond of cold & wind & rain!
Anybody want to trade? The house comes with it, okay, but you'll have to
pay for the a.c. yourself. Believe me, you'll need it! That and the ice-cold
beer when you get back. :)
