TV free

I did not own a TV for 13 years. I lived in houses at school where I got
some exposure, and worked for a newspaper (that had no photos!) so I had
some idea of what was going on.

But there was some culture shock! I went to happy hour one night with some
people and didn't understand why people bothered to lip sync with music
videos, or for that matter, why do them at all?

I wondered why Michael #@%&son was grabbing himself and what had happened to
that cute little 5-year old...the voice was the same, sort of...I had to sit
with my back to the TV.
