At the moment, I'm not prepared to go cold turkey - so I'm trying
"controlled T.V.". To this end I've located the off switch on the remote AND
on the object itself. this way I don't have to miss out on the weather
report, but I can abstain from the garbage that passes as current events
reporting here.
