invisible bead to keep work from touching glass

I think what Kate is referring to is FrameSpace, EconoSpace or any competing
product.

The former is an 's'-shaped plastic profile that clips onto the glass edge
and the other ende forms a glass spacer. The latter product is flat with a
removeable release paper that exposes pressure sensitive adhesive. The strip
is simply stuck to the very edge of the glass (inside) and spaces the glass
away from the work. If you use a mat, the pressure is on the mat.

If you don't use a mat and the art is trimmed to the frame size, the spacer
presses on the art (not desirable).

I'm not sure if my long-winded initial reply to the dry mount question
actually left my email Outbox at work. I'll check Monday & send it.
