Hi:
I'm giving a presentation to my father's camera club group this coming
January.
I want to show more than my own stuff - but I haven't figured out how to
do this.
The club's audio-visual equipment is limited to a slide projector. I
don't want to make slide copies of my work - they are mostly done with
alternative processes - you can't reproduce the look and feel of these
well.
I also thought of printing out some of the many pinhole images on the web,
but again I don't think they would reproduce very well - and I would go
through a lot ink :(
I decided that since its likely a fairly small group that I would just
bring in a bunch of real prints and let people look at them. I think this
would have a far greater impact.
Would anyone be interested in donating a print to create a sample
portfolio of pinhole prints? I would be able to show people a wide
variety of real images.
This package could be used by others when I am done. It would be a good
thing to have for other workshops.
I could let people see hands on what other people have done. I think
seeing the real thing would have much more impact than any reproduction.
Gord
