I hand process all of my color film, slide or negative. I've done this through
temp controlled units like the jobo or as basic as a pan with hot water
from the tap running in it. I've never had a problem. It is easiest with a
jobo. The only step that needs to be 100 is the developer, the rest has a
much broader temp range. Actually I have had problems once but it was
caused by storing my E6 in old bottles that had been used for something
else. Go for it, a kit is cheap and the experience is worth having. I do agree
with the other posters that its not worth it for the convenience and price of
one hour processing but the only do 35mm.
