Paper is less expensive and requires longer exposure time. Film is easily
enlarged and will capture the proper tonal range (paper will not properly
record orange/red).
My recommendation is to use film whenever possible, as it offers you the best
quality and capabilities. Paper's inexpensive quality is good when you are
making a 16X20 camera (did that, won't do it again <g>).
