Cardboard 6x9 pinhole camera

I just stumbled across a Beseler 6x9 (cardboard) pinhole camera on e-bay
(don't buy it there it is already too expensive). With a little digging
I found the same thing online somewhere else.

Has anyone had any luck with one of these? For $39.95 it sounds like it
would be a good stocking stuffer. ( Christmas shopping season is already
starting up here in Chicago.)
