(OT again)Alt Process list??

Ok,

So here's a question for all of you. I've heard mention of an alternative
process list existing, and i'm wondering if anyone might be able to help me
find it. I'd really like to join as i've a few questions for some people
with experience in such matters.

What's my question you ask? well, if you insist, i really want to do some
acryllic lifts, and i've read some stuff about it. unfortunately the
resources i've used have only given me basic information as to what
acryllic gloss/gel medium i should use. in fact, that's all it says,
'acryllic gloss/gel medium'. i'm not exactly sure what that is. can anyone
give me some specifics?
if not, can someone point me to the alt processes list?
