A possible reason for having problems taking flash pictures with your
pinhole might be not enough output for your flash. Check your guide number
and make sure it's adequate for the f/Stop of your pinhole. The alternative
if it is not, would be to multiple flashes while keeping your pinhole open.
Obviously this works better in the studio where light can be controlled or
outside at night. Multiple pops of a strobe is a technique often used to
photograph building/scenes at night.
Can you give more information on either the problems you are having
and/or what you want to photograph? Best of luck regardless. Thom
