New images to share

A few new photos to share... Done with an old 35mm Halina viewfinder at
about f/120 or so, handmade hole about .007" or so in .002" brass, Kodak
Gold ASA 200, processed cheaply and locally. I'd rather have used any of
these for WWPD#2, but since I didn't take them on April 28th, it wouldn'ta
been right, and I am a play fair kind of guy. Not sure if the URL's will get
clipped, this is the main page:

GeorgoffDogNose.JPG is the one that worked out of 9 tries. If anyone knows
the breed Jack Russell Terrier, relaxing is almost genetically impossible.
She was not quite ready for a Sunday, and had laid down in a sunbeam for
additional snooze time. After many sniffs of me, the camera, my hand, my
nose, etc, she settled back down. I had wanted to get wide angle dog nose
for a while. Got it!

GeorgoffBar.JPG was done waiting for some folks to show up for dinner at a
restaurant. I decided to quaff a Guiness Stout, laid my change and
wristwatch on the bar, and happened to have the camera with me... (By the
way, a Guiness can was the material for my first pinhole, not as nice as
brass, but it was handy!)

GeorgoffCadInside.JPG is an interior shot of a 1935 Cadillac nearing the
completion of a long restoration project. No, not my car! I could maybe
afford a spark plug to one of these on a good day! The chrome hit just
right on this one, I was between the dashboard and the steering wheel (lotta
room there in 1935!).

GeorgoffCadV8.JPG is growing on me as a real favorite. This particular 1935
was the econo-buy V8 model, and the hood, although long, was not near as
long as a good wide angle pinhole will lead you to believe. The sun on the
right side gave me "fade pale white to diffraction" which I could not have
done if I had planned it. What's the word, serendipity? Yeah, I'll take
it.

This piece of garbage camera has given some great shots simply by virtue of
it's portability: 35mm does have it's advantages!!
