Eric,
To make your body cap pinhole closer to the film plane would make it get
in the way of the mirror. You might need to find a range finder camera
so that you can recess the hole. My image for WPPD 2001 (#95) was made
with a Leica that I had made a 15mm recess adapter. I made this out of
the stand pipe from a patterson developing tank, cut 15mm from the
bottom flange. The bottom flange is wire enough to span the lens mount
opening. I attached my pinhole to the open end of the tube and attached
the flange to a screw mount to M adapter so that it was an easy mounting
fit.
Last year I was able to get my image up on pinhole day, this year I've
been slow about it. I hopefully will get it posted before the #500
