Dear Garrett

I asked my optician about these pinhole glasses. They do work; if you are
short sighted, have you ever looked through a pinhole held close to your
eye, the world is much sharper, it is as though you are wearing glasses.

However, A WORD OF WARNING - the optician said they are not good for the
eyes. I didn't understand his explanation which he gave rather briefly.
What I gathered is that they can damage the eye in some way.

I would say it is more of a casual curiosity rather than a substitute for
lenses.
