Hey all -
Thought it time to introduce myself and come out of lurking since
WPPD inspired me to mix a few chemicals and shoot a few photos with
my old tin and some 8x10 sheets of paper.
I live in Austin, so took a shot of the State Capitol, a photographic
cliche here but the wonder of the pinhole is that the negative picked
up everything from the blades of grass (I just sat my tin down on the
ground, actually on a rock to tilt the camera 'up') to the whole of
the building itself. You can even barely discern the flags, which were
flapping wildly during the exposure courtesy of a windy afternoon.
What a panorama!
Took a couple of other shots too, it was fun to do this again (don't
think I've worked with paper in a couple yrs).
A friend's scanner is busted, so I like the idea of Kinkos (may try
and go over there later today to scan the negs, so I can post something
on the site). Enjoy reading everyone's helpful comments on this site.
