A few thoughts:

There are at least half a dozen good ways to build a darkroom sink.

You say 22 inches. If you are intending to use 16x20 inch trays, make sure
you measure them as your 22 inches seems tight!

I build mine out of high grade plywood and "two part epoxy paint". The sides
(not plywood) were routered to let the bottom (plywood) set into them,
caulked, then primed, then epoxy painted. About every other year I have to
reseal with a coat of the epoxy paint. Check large paint stores or boating
supply places for the two part paint. It works great, but does take the
every other year maintenance and the two part paint is truly one of the
worlds worst smells :-(

If you build a small bit of angle into the sink, it will drain much nicer
(make the drain end of the sink lower than the opposite end of the sink).

Hope than helps.
