Darkroom sink question

I hope this is not out of place here. Forgive me if it is..

I've just built a darkroom and a new sink. It's 8 foot x 22 inches. I want
to build some wooden strips/runners to line the bottom so the trays are off
the bottom and allow the water and chemicals to flow through to the drain.
What is a good wood selection and building technique for this?

BTY, thanks to all who have responded to my posts in this forum. It's
wonderful to have such a knowledgeable group of people as a resource.
