RE: any experience with pinhole holga?

I have not used one of these "PinHolgas" but I did make my own.

For another example of a pinhole-converted Holga, see
http://www.argonauta.com/html/holga_pinholes.htm. He doesn't sell them, but
his instructions for modifying Holgas are excellent.

I'm working on some pictures of my own pinhole Holga for my web site. I
should have them up next week, maybe. I have some Holga photos up now, but
none of the pinhole shots yet. http://www.dankerton.net.

I think I have a rather novel approach to modifying a Holga for pinhole
usage. I wanted a Holga for nighttime/long exposure photography and for
pinhole photography. Instead of using two separate cameras and making most
of the same modifications to both, why not make a convertible lensed/pinhole
Holga? I mounted a pinhole to the "sunny" aperture plate and removed the
lens stop screw. So, if I want to shoot nighttime stuff with a lens, I just
swing the pinhole out of the way. If I want to shoot pinhole shots, I move
it into place and screw off the lens.

The only thing I don't have that the PinHolga does is a cable shutter
release. That would be nice.

I like using the Holga for pinhole photography. I don't have a darkroom, so
it's convenient being able to shoot on film, since I can still develop in a
tank.

When I get my site updated, I can post the URL if people are interested.

Hi,

My wife likes the holga cameras quite alot, and we get them from someone
who modifies them (we just got a holga with bulb setting). I just noticed
that he now sell two modifications that are pinhole versions.

Has anyone used these?

For those of you not familiar with Holga, it is a ultra inexpensive 120
camera that makes images "hat are not sharp". Here are some images (no
affiliation
with these folks just like the work):
