The pinhole itself does not need to be made on the cap (unless that's what
you want). The pinhole can be made using thin material (0.002" shim stock
for instance) and then tape it on the center of a hole you make on the cap,
this hole has to be big enough so its walls do not cause vignetting (again,
unless that is what you want).
