extension tubes with pinhole and throwing caution to the wind

I had been wondering what would happen if a pinhole was placed further away
like that.

I imagine the circle of coverage would be fine until it exceeded the
diameter of the tube...probably not a problem with 35 mm.

I pulled my laser pinhole out of my 35 mm conversion and made one out of
solid black matboard, about 1/16" thick, poked a bent crooked sewing needle
thru it (it wasn't rusty) and sanded the 'blowout' on the back.

It might even be egg-shaped. Hey, I actually experimented without
calculating somethign to the 'nth degree'
