Tom,
I used to make my own wine (from apples, red currants, strawberries
and blackberries) for quite some years.
4 years ago a 5 gallon glass bottle of fermenting blackberry wine
exploded in my kitchen. After renovating the room my wife strictly
prohibited any further actions regarding wine-making.
I then started pinhole photography.

Yes, there are parallels between making wine and pinholing. The main
difference is: pinhole cameras do not explode and so wives can't
prohibit them ....
