I love it too. I hope we can have such exhibition at least one time in my
life (or in all pinholers life).
Actually, I mounted all the photos I received from the 2001 Christmas Card
Swap with a large frame and it is exhibited in my workshop but the
exhibition is not opened to the public ;-)
When I read this thread, I am so excited! On the other side, I am so worry
about the time we have.
It seems it is not difficult if we can well-plan this event because some of
our friends have good relations with curator of museum or related
organization.
I think you all can help to make it come true. Here below is my rough idea
for the planning:
1. We make sure who can arrange the exhibition in their area (we don't need
to have many area for the first time, maybe one or two location is just
fine, this is the first year, we may have it for the next year)
2. Planning the schedule for the travel exhibition.
3. Announce the exhibition at the WDDP web site
4. number of participants and entries
5. interested participants can send their prints to xxx (some place or some
people who in charge for the exhibition in the first location)
6. after the first exhibition is finished, xxx send all the artworks to yyy
(the second location for the exhibition).
7. after the final exhibition, we swap the artwork, send it back to
participant randomly (Maybe this is the 2002 Christmas Swap)
Things we need to consider:
1. how to group people who want to participate in arrange this exhibition
(maybe Gregg can help, we may have another sub-team of the WDDP specially
for this event... any idea?)
1. Schedule of the whole exhibition
2. transportation fee (from one place to another place)
3. report of the exhibition, maybe some photos
It seems you all have a wonderful pinhole dream that may come true every
year!
