Maybe you're asking something else, like what is the "normal" lens for 6x9 film.  I think it would be the same length as a diagonal from one corner of your film to the other.  So, to calculate that you would take the square root of   (6x6 + 9x9) which is approximately 11cm or 110mm.  I think thats right.

 But I did not want a wide angle image, so for instance, if I want to make images of fruits, with a 6X9 120mm film, is my image going to be distorces ? How can I have a normal image for a 120mm film ? I do have a zero 6x9 camera and thinking to built a 4X5 one
