Hi John,
the Argus lens was made for a certain lens-film-distance, and at this
distance the lens will not make a full-size image on 12x18 (inch, I assume).
If you take a larger distance, you can only shoot close-ups (the larger
distance is like using bellows with a 35 mm camera).
You will have to look for a lens designed for large formats and appropriate
distance ...
