Rob,
You can contact print them on 8x10 paper and the image will stand out starly
against a black backround. Plus, you have a lot more detail with 4x5 than
smaller formats enlarged. Best if you go all the way to 8x10 (which I still
have to do myself...).
I agree with all that if you can get your hands on a 4x5 enlarger, get one.
It's a bit more tricky to handle 4x5 film in the neg holder than say 35mm, but
you'll get used to it quickly.
