Hi,
I've had this problem and I think I have the answer. First, make sure
the tension springs are bent out enough to put tension on the spools.
Second, make sure the film is snug across the back of the camera when
you put the lid on. Thirdly, and I think most importantly, wind the
film slowly between exposures. I didn't arrive at this very
scientifically, but when I do the above it seems to be fine.
One other thing. When it doesn't work, learn to see the beauty in edge
fog!
