Hi,
My son and I used the equipment for his science fair project last year,
including the Ilford paper. How did you treat the plastic translucent lid?
We painted it with the same flat black paint we used inside the can, but
found we had a serious light leak and the first picture was also black. We
ended up using aluminum foil on top of the lid. I've also seen the opaque
black plastic that sheet film and paper come in inserted in the can and then
the lid placed on it.
We found that with a pinhole in a piece of soda can about .040 inches, the
exposure time was about 5 to 25 seconds, depending on clouds, etc.
Best of luck!
