In case anyone is interested, I have just written a complaint to support@legacywc.com and karpw@LegacyWC.com regarding their commercial posting to the list. I have also added @legacywc.com to a list of addresses which are not allowed to post to the list. I've never done this before, so I don't even know if it works. I doubt that support@legacywc.com will try posting again anyway...
And to correct a comment in their last paragraph (below) of their posting, no one has "bought" this list.
