It depends on the lab that you use. If a custom lab makes a print it should
be better. If a machine makes the print it could be better or worse than your
"proof." An advantage in ordering an individual print is that you can ask the
lab to crop it as you'd like it. Thus, a square negative might look great in
an 8x10 print...if properly cropped.
