Re: scanner and darkroom

The first question should be what are you going to do with the scanner?

If you simply want something to scan images to put on web pages you can
use a fairly inexpensive one.

If you want to use it for some kind of digitally based reproduction
you need to consider what kind of resultion you need. A high resolution
scanner costs more. How much more? How much resolution do you need?
