Wondering if people who have the cable release installed have the same

 Thanks for help on this.

I had a similar problem when I first started working with my Zero 2000 Deluxe
(which has the cable release mechanism installed ) I initially opened the
shutter manually, and randomly found I had portion of the shutter exposed on
the neg. I then started using the cable release mechanism with a locking
cable release, and never had had a problem since, Good Luck.
