processing partial rolls of 120 shouldn't be a problem so long as you give the lab what they expect, i.e. a roll of film. this requires you to spool the exposed film back onto the core with the paper backing. this is really pretty easy, but be sure to keep the head and tail of the film in the proper place and leave extra at either end. i always ask for the negs uncut. otherwise they are likely to cut at the framelines regardless of where your image is, and as my luck would have it this means directly through the most promising picture...
