I mentioned this some time ago but the underwater camera experiments prompted
my to mention it again. I once made an underwater camera, like others, by
taping a pinhole lens on the outside of a water tight glass jar. It worked ok
but then I decided to reverse the process by filling the jar with a diluted
solution of paper developer. As the paper negative was being exposed it was
also being developed. Needless to say the resulting negative was nothing to
write home about.
