RE: changes to the "upload" gallery

Thanks everyone for the feedback. There is still a programming problem loading the files in Gallery 2000 right now, but I believe most browsers can now view Gallery 2001. I hope to get the 2000 images working later today.

The only text that will be displayed in the upload gallery is the file name and date it was uploaded. Please keep in mind that this gallery is intended as a place for list members to temporarily upload images to share with other list members, for feedback, and other purposes. Using you name as the file name is one way for the file to display your name, for example "John_Smith_12.jpg".

Also, remember that there are other places for list members to exhibit their photos. For example, Guillermo Penate hosts the "Pinhole List Gallery" at http://members.home.com/penate/open.html. This is a more formal presentation gallery for list members.
