It was just two months ago!

Hey folks,

If my memory serves me right, it was just two months ago that Zernike
posted his famous "why don't we organize a Pinhole day?" message!

Would you have believed that this would ever happen? Well, if some of us
had known what we were getting into.... But here it is! And now,
there is exactly 15 days to go before D-day!

One thing is sure, it would never have happened without the relentless
efforts of our Leader, I have named Gregg Kemp. He certainly deserves
many, many big hands for never having given up on the idea, even during
the most discouraging periods, and for having passed on his enthusiasm
to all the members of the Coordinating Team!

And then it would never have happened either without all those that
contributed directly or indirectly to creating this multilingual site
and spreading the word around to the most remote places of the earth...

To this day, there has been almost 12,000 visitors to the WPPD site
(correct me if I'm wrong, Gregg), from all over the world. This is an
average of 623 visits per day. Not bad for a starter!

But we want to do more and spread the word further. If you don't know

You can also create your own promotion flyer from the pages of the WPPD
web site. You know best what to do in your local area or in your
state. If you need help, don't hesitate to email me or any of the
Regional Coordinators.

There is still quite a bit of work to do for several of us to make sure
that pictures can be scanned and loaded on the site after April 29. So
I better run... -:))
