Hi Donna,
I had a Diana, bought on eBay for an outrageous price, which unfortunately
broke. The plastic is plastic and I was carrying it around without protection in
my backpack... So I decided to replace it by a clone. Even those are way too
expensive.

My experience with these cameras is mixed. I like the images I get from them but
I don't like the small format of the negative. But then you get more pictures on
a roll of 120 film than with a conventional 2 1/4 or a Holga.

I also find that it is difficult to mix pinhole with plastic when I put my
pictures together for a show or something. Individually they are great, but side
by side, it seems that they don't fit together.

Winning on eBay is an art... I, myself, wait in the back until the last moments
of the auction. I check if the price remains good for me, then I jump in the
last few seconds with a maximum bid which I what I am prepared to pay for the
item. I generally works, but not always. There are many who follow that
strategy and some have nerves of steal (together with a high-speed connection
allowing them to wait literally for the last 5 seconds...)

Good luck with your experiments if you get one.

Cheers,

Guy

P.S. Thanks, Kurt, for your interesting links.
