As a rule of thumb I usually develop mine shorter to lower the contrast
depending on how long the exposure was. But, like everything else, this is a
highly personal choice and often will depend on the subject matter. Many
people like the contrasty look of pinhole pictures. Maybe try taking several
pictures of the same thing and develop each differently to see what you come
up with.
