You should find charts on instructions with the variable contrast
paper you buy, or on the manufacturer's web site. I am sure
this vary's from paper to paper...

Subject: [pinhole-discussion] B&W printing with color head: Contrast
filtration figures

At last my darkroom is finished. It's almost 3 years since we've moved
here and it took me that long to re-instate my darkroom.

But it's done now and I'm ready to print with my Omega 4x5 enlarger. It
has a Super Chromega Dichroid color head and I can dial the contrast
filters from the color head, using Yellow and Magenta.

Everything is set up, my trays are filled with fresh chemicals, my
enlarger is focussed for my first print at home after 3 years... But,
rats, I've lost the reference sheet showing which filtrations to dial-in
for each contrast number. Rats, rats, rats... -:((

Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Guy
