It isn't really the same. At the low diffusion setting, perhaps. But as the
aperture is opened up there is a significant amount of chromatic abberation
(and spherical, and barrell distortion) that you can't get from filters. But it
IS a lot of money to pay for what, in any other lens, would be considered
serious optical flaws.

Ont thing that stock agencies are always on the look for is images that are
diferent. These certainly qualify on that account!
