this and that

hi all

thanks for everybody replying my Polaroid 500 questions. I got
quite good pictures with it inside, but outdoors, maybe because of
the mirror Joycam has, the upper part of the image was completely
overexposed and it was semi-circle shaped. But ideas are going on.

I took this morning a picture with TMAX-400 inside. The measured time
was 2 mins and I calculated the time for reciprocity failure according
to the formulas Guillermo and others gave us the other day, which gave a
total of 6 mins. After developing the film, the exposure was just right.
Now anyhow I'd like to ask, does the RF affect paper negatives in short,
say less than 5 min exposures? I remember reading somewhere, that the
photographic paper, as it is meant for long exposures, has much longer
time of exposure before RF must be taken into account. I've
always taken pictures earlier just shooting what time was calculated and
with extremely long times, added just something to compensate RF
and the results have been quite ok.

best
