I like the idea of the postcards.  I just did this as part of my photo class this semester.  Each student was to pick their favorite pinhole photo, print a postcard on Ilford postcard paper and send it to me, with a brief message which outlined something they learned, or enjoyed about pinhole photography.  After Christmas break I intend to put these postcards in our schools web photo gallery.
Self portrait or open would be fine as topics. Self-portraits would put a face with our list members names!!  Postcards could be sent either way if someone wished them to be very protected.
