And a merry christmas to you. My first image was with a soda cracker, which
was flatter and the hole had sharper edes, with less bulging of the buiscuit
around the hole. The Ritz cracker worked out better using the lens
cap/shutter I made from the top of the peanut butter jar. I've been trying
to put words to what was interesting about this project. Now I'm thunking of
calling it "spontaneous images". The light passes through the hole all the
time, I just happened to catch an image. I'm thinking about other sources of
sponaneous images, like taking a piece of tin and bending it back and forth
until a crack forms and then using that as a slit. Eric Renners book shows
some images made with seashells, too.Rusty tin cans often have little holes.
What else?
