Hi Colin!
Thanks for your comments. The waterfall image was taken on Ilford Delta 3200
film with my 2 1/4 converted Lubitel Zone Plate. The umbrella was taken with
a lovely zone plate made by Guillermo Penate for my 35 mm Canon, also on
Delta 3200. Both were developed in Rodinal and then worked on in Photoshop.
I do a lot of work with curves in Photoshop to adjust the tonal range of the
final image since the zone plate negs never have much contrast. I have
printed zone plate negs in my regular B&W darkroom, but it's a lot easier to
get the results I want digitally. I do almost all my work as digital giclee
prints now, both colour and B&W. There are a lot of great watercolour type
papers for printing available. I use Generation colour ink and MIS Quadtone
black inks in two different printers, one for colour and one for B&W.
