Ah, I suppose our inquisitive student has acted with some haste, but she
is surely not alone. And if there is still a place where the novice is
welcome and encouraged, where inspiration counts for as much as experience
and credentials, where else can it be but on a discussion list? Who here
finds it difficult to delete a post we find frivolous or irrelevant
(didn't we have poetry recently?), and why not offer Ruth a book title? I
suggest Eric Renner's Pinhole Photography (Focal Press, 1995), ISBN
0-240-80231-4.
