This fellow has lots of info on SX-70 cameras.

I have made a pinhole camera for exposing SX-70 film. I used an old
Time-Zero camera (The white and black one with the Polaroid rainbow stripe
down the front that James Garner used to advertise). I think these are much
easier to modify than a SX-70 (cheaper and easier to find too).
